Yes, the pressing mat is included with the Square Press.
Q: What type of surface (table, ironing board, pressing mat, etc.) can the presses be used on?
The presses should be used on a sturdy, flat surface that can hold the weight of the press. The Mini Press will need a pressing mat or an iron safe surface such as an ironing board.

No, the Mini Press does not include a pressing mat.
Q: For the Square Press and Mini Press, how hard do I have to press to properly adhere the HTV (heat transfer vinyl)?
Both the Square and Mini Press do not require a large amount of pressure. A combination of even heat and gentle pressure ensures excellent adherence of the HTV. Both can be used with one hand.
Q: Do the Square Press and Mini Press need to be pressed in one spot or do I need to move it around (similar to an iron)?
When pressing HTV (heat transfer vinyl) you can keep the press in place and move it if the design is bigger than the press. If using the Mini Press as a small iron, you can move it around just as you would an iron.
Q: Can I use the Mini Press like an iron or do I have to use the timer function?
You can use the Mini Press either way. When you are doing HTV projects, the built-in timer is perfect. Or if you are using the Mini Press as an iron and pressing seams or other projects, you can simply set the temperature and use it as you would a regular iron.
